Détail du projet d'affaires

Numéro de fiche: 3014882
Non
Hong Kong, Hong Kong (SAR),
MBrands’ principal objective is to penetrate the emerging upper and middle class market in China and the already extensive Hong Kong market by supplying them with quality, imported Canadian and French products.

MBrands’ focus is on French and Canadian alcoholic products, mainly wines, ready-to-drink (RTD) alcoholic beverages, liqueurs and microbrews. The market is competitive in both China and Hong Kong, therefore emphasis will remain on differentiation through the provision of goods that appeal to young affluent drinkers. Living in the French Riviera has given me unprecedented market knowledge not only through my own research but also through personal experience. Mbrands is in touch with the latest trends in Canada and Europe and understands the microbrew market in Asia is developing and the RTD market is growing. Mbrands wants to capture this market. It has already developed direct partnerships and agreements with Canadian and French manufacturers to distribute their products in these markets.

Respect and relationship building is very important in these cultures. Having the right offerings is only part of MBrands’ value; success requires a comprehensive customer service to complement product purchases. These services include exclusivity memberships and discounted prices based on order frequency and volumes. It also combines a customer support system consisting of product information, consumption proposals, food pairing and a 24hr customer service hotline.

The company is established in Hong Kong in order to capitalize on;

-Low trade barriers.

-The large seaport.

-Low tax rate, maximum of 16.5 and no sales tax.

-Proximity to Mainland China

-The Hong Kong Government’s elimination of duty on alcoholic products below 30 in volume.

-Elimination of all duty-related administration, making the import and export of wines hassle-free.

-The free movement of capital, talent, goods and information between Hong Kong and China.
150 000$ +/- 40 000$
The investment will primarily be used for startup inventory. There will also be transportation costs for shipments from port of Vancouver for Canadian products and port of Genoa for French products. There will be warehousing and delivery costs in Hong Kong. In order to minimize spending, no investment will be made in purchasing delivery trucks therefore this activity will be outsourced. Advertising and promotions will be required. SG

I am a Canadian that is currently in France but coming back to Canada. I have studied my MBA in Nice, France and Hong Kong, China. In Hong Kong I have developed a network that can put me in touch with reputable contacts through the University I attended, they are already willing to help. I own part of an all-natural iced tea company in the French Riviera which I helped start up and I plan on distributing these product into Hong Kong and China as well. The product is selling well in France, I have met with large retailers in London such as Pret a Manger and Marks and Spencer. This product would sell very well in Asia because its French and its all-natural and healthy, which is a developing trend in Asia. Consumers are becoming much more health conscious and prefer to consume foreign products because of safety issues. Through the operation of the tea company in Nice I have developed an abundance of contacts in the Food and Beverage industry. This has allowed me to build personal relationships with manufacturers, there is no need to go through a supplier as you need to with most proudcts such as wines. I am connected directly with the vineyards. I am an educated person and have completely analyzed the Asian market and this project can be extremely profitable. I require an investment for the reasons mentioned above, I truly believe this will be successfull. I have done all the market research, I have written the business plan, I have lived in this region for 6 months and I can say the possibilities are limitless.
